All about me!

I'm married with two children, all grown up now, I love life and love spending time with people.

How times have changed, weddings, funerals, baby naming, vow renewal, there are no boundaries just imagination.

When I got married 20 years ago, (yes that picture is me all those years ago!), there was no choice, either a church wedding, or the registry office. My mum had a large and beautiful garden, and I so wanted a ceremony there, but sadly wasn't an option. I ended up getting married at the registry office with a ceremony that was the same as everyone else's.

Before I became a celebrant, I was a teacher for Adult Education. I loved to make a difference to people's lives, helping countless people gain the skills to progress in Employment. As a manager in Adult Education, I used my planning skills to create and manage the curriculum. My claim to fame is that I once gave a presentation and Princess Anne was in the audience!

In my spare time I go to the gym, walk the dog, love to socialise, like live music, attending concerts and festivals, and love watching sport; netball and football being amongst my favourites.

I decided to become a celebrant after attending a funeral of a close friend, during the ceremony I felt that I could be the person to support people during their times of celebration, love and loss.

I love people and love to hear your stories, whatever the ceremony is, I enjoy getting to know you and supporting you through the planning process to help you create the ceremony of your dreams, at your chosen venue, whether that's at home, outside in a beautiful setting, on the beach, at a festival or any other place that you can imagine. Working closely together to create a beautiful, meaningful, and memorable service that is unique to you and will be remembered by everyone.
